The drive

Petrovac is the quickest way to get from Podgorica Airport to a beach: south past the shores of Skadar Lake, through the Sozina toll tunnel, and you emerge practically above the town. The final kilometres wind down through olive terraces toward the sea, and in the early evening the light on the bay makes this short transfer feel like the start of the holiday proper.
